Woman found shot in Morrow County

HEPPNER, Ore.-- The Morrow County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman was found with serious gunshot wounds.

According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of shots fired, when they found a 42-year old woman with at least one gunshot wound.

Officials aren't saying where the victim was located.

The victim was taken by Life Flight to a hospital out of the area.

Investigators say this was a targeted incident, and they don't believe the public is in any danger.
