WA Apple Harvest Down

The Washington State apple harvest is expected to be down about five-percent from earlier estimates, according to the Washington State Tree Fruit Association. The latest reports show 118 million boxes of apples will be harvested, which is about 3 percent less than last year. The group says excessive heat earlier in the summer caused the decline.
