KENNEWICK, Wash.-The public will have a chance to way in, virtually, on a proposed 1,150 Megawatt wind farm project on the Horse Heaven Hills south of Kennewick.

Scout Clean Energy submitted an application in February with the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council to develop, construct and operate the area stretching from Finley to Benton City and contain a maximum of 244 wind turbines.

The hearing is slated for Tuesday, March 30th, beginning at 5:30pm with an informational meeting.


Public Comment will be accepted during the Public Information Meeting and Land Use Consistency Hearing. If you are unable to attend the meeting please send your comment in writing to efsec@utc.wa.gov or at the mailing address below.
