Ventures Guitarist and Co-Founder Don Wilson Dies at 88

(Tacoma, WA) -- Rhythm guitarist and co-founder of surf music band The Ventures, Don Wilson, has passed away. The Ventures sold more than 100-million records and are among the best-selling instrumental rock group in the industry. Wilson was the last of the band's original members. Family of Don Wilson confirmed that he died natural causes over the weekend.

He was 88.
