Two arrested in armed home invasion

Two men were arrested in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in Morrow County.

Deputies with the Morrow County Sheriff's Office say two men barged into a home in Irrigon at about 7pm  Sunday night, November 10th, and pointed a gun at a man in the residence.

The victim contacted law enforcement after the suspects left, and about five minutes later, Patrol Sgt. Todd Siex and Deputy Tanner Cooney conducted a high risk felony traffic stop on the suspect's vehicle on Depot Lane.

Two men were taken into custody.

Abraham Barajas, 20, and Juan Rodriguez, 24, both from Irrigon, were booked in the Umatilla County Jail on suspicion of First Degree Burglary, 2nd Degree Criminal Trespass, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Unlawful Use of Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Firearm.

Barajas is being held on $78,500 bail. Rodriguez could face additional charges for parole violations, and is being without bail.

The Boardman Police Department and Oregon State Police helped in the arrest and investigation.
