A man considered a pioneer of U.S. fisheries in the north Pacific is dead. Seattle-based Trident Seafoods cofounder Chuck Bundrant died at his home in Edmonds Sunday. He was 79. Bundrant cofounded Trident in 1972 after working as a deck hand on a crabbing boat. Trident has eleven seafood processing plants in Alaska along with three in Washington state, one in Minnesota and one in Georgia.
