Train hits truck crossing tracks near Othello
A train slammed into a semi-truck carrying a trailer full of hay near Othello, destroying most of the bales.
Adam County deputies say the crash happened in Bruce at the intersection of Lee Rd., west of Booker Rd. The hay bales look to have spilled out across the tracks, destroying much of the load.
The driver only suffered from minor scrapes and scratches and no one else was hurt. He refused medical treatment and transport.
Adam County deputies wrote on Facebook, "An unfortunate reminder to be careful at railroad crossings."
