Registered sex offender wanted for failing to follow registration requirements

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office help finding a registered sex offender who isn't complying with the terms of his probation.

Deputies say Ronnie Lee Meyers, 68, is homeless and was recently released from prison.

Meyeres is a level 3 sex offender and YCSO says he poses a high risk to re-offend.

According to the sex offender registry, Meyers was convicted of 1st Degree Rape in 1993, and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in 2015.

He's described as He is 6' 7", 318 lbs, with gray hair, and at one time lived in Soap Lake.

Anyone who knows where he might be is asked to call 911.
