KENNEWICK, Wash.-After 18 years, a possible break in the most infamous cold case in the Tri-Cities.


Kennewick Police have announced a possible suspect in the disappearance of Sofia Juarez. Detectives say an eyewitness has come forward with the description of a boy in his early teens, light complexion, about 5-feet tall with chubby features and short black hair.


There was also a blue or silver 1970s or 80s work van without windows associated with this case.


Sofia Juarez went missing on February 4, 2003.


Police say a Kennewick couple is now offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the whereabouts of Sofia Juarez. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 509-628-0333.
