KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Police in Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland are investigating several burglaries that occurred overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning.
Kennewick Police say a passerby spotted someone climbing out of the window of one coffee shop early Tuesday, and called 911.
The Dutch Bros. location in the Planet Fitness parking lot in Kennewick was hit, along with the Li'l Firehouse Coffee in the 3700 block of W. Clearwater Ave.
In both cases, windows were broken.
In Pasco, officers say the Dutch Bros. on Burden Blvd. was burglarized just after 3:00 a.m., when a male suspect allegedly used a hammer to break the window and gain entry.
Investigators say money and equipment were stolen.
According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, the Fintucky Coffee Company at 397 and Haney Road in Finley was also damaged and burglarized.
Officers in Kennewick say they're coordinating their investigation with police in Richland and Pasco, each of which have one reported burglary at coffee shops, and are working to confirm whether the four known cases are related.
