Police: Attempted bank robber caught at Kennewick McDonald’s wearing exact same clothes
A Pasco man believed to have attempted to rob a Kennewick bank has been taken into custody Friday morning after McDonald's employees thought a customer matched the suspect description.
Kennewick police say they were called out to the McDonald's off Clearwater near Columbia Center Boulevard around 7:25 a.m. and confronted the man. Officers were able to confirm it was the robber through surveillance video and say he was also wearing the exact same clothes as the day before. Police say he was taken into custody without incident.
Officers believe he may be a transient but his previous addresses show that he lived in Pasco. The suspect is still being interviewed and officers say charges have not yet been filed.
