One detained after shooting in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A woman was detained for questioning shortly after a shooting at the Three City Bar on Columbia Drive in Kennewick early Saturday morning.
Kennewick Police responded to the business at about 1:15 a.m. when a woman called 911 to report that another woman had fired a gun during an altercation.
As officers arrived, they conducted a felony traffic stop on a vehicle that was leaving the area and headed toward the entrance to Highway 395.
Officer Adam Greiber with the Kennewick Police Department confirmed that a female suspect was detained for questioning without incident, and faces several charges, including possession of a concealed weapon in a prohibited location, and aggravated assault.
No one was hurt, and Ofc. Grieber cautions firearms owners to follow the law in regards to where a concealed weapon is permitted. He could not confirm whether the suspect is has a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
