One dead in Yakima armed robbery

Yakima Police say an armed robbery has led to the death of a convenience store clerk.

According to a press release, officers were called out to the AM PM in the 600 block of E. Yakima Ave. at around 2:00 AM Thursday morning where they found a 25-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim told officers that the store had been robbed by two people wearing masks.

The store clerk was taken to the hospital where he died.
