
One arrested in drive-by shooting
A 16-year old is in custody after the youth allegedly fired a gun from the sunroof of a car is it drove through an area near Southridge High School overnight.
Kennewick Police say they received calls about shots being fired, and were given a description of the suspect vehicle. When they caught up with the car and stopped the vehicle, they found three people inside.
The 16-year was determined to be the one who fired the gun. The teen also had warrants out for their arrest, and was taken into custody and booked at the Juvenile Detention Center.
Police towed the vehicle and plan to ask for a search warrant to continue investigating the shooting.
No injuries were reported.
