PASCO, Wash. - Many community members are bracing for financial hardship during the COVID-19 outbreak. Customers of local credit unions can rest assured knowing their financial institution is here for them.

CEO of Community First Bank Tri-Cities, Eric Pearson said the bank is committed to helping its members meet their financial obligations during this time. "We are all in this together and we are coming up with creative ways to assist our members." He went on to say that company remains strong.

Community support is also key when these national emergencies take place. This support comes in many different forms, but staying local and buying local is one way the community can come around one another. Pearson said the local economy is resilient and that everyone, credit unions included, is wanting the emergency situation to be resolved as quickly as possible.

Media and Communications Manager, Dan Hansen of STCU also weighed in. "We're doing everything we can to help our team, help our members and help our community get through this crisis." Credit unions urge members to communicate their financial hardship as soon as possible for the best possible outcome.
