Large Drug Bust in Coeur d’Alene

Several pounds of illegal drugs seized near Coeur d’Alene Tuesday night. Now authorities there say they've arrested a Montana man in connection with their trafficking. 38 year old Michael Williams of Butte was pulled over by Idaho State Police at around 5pm on I-90. He then fled and threw several items out of his truck. Police put a quick stop to his flight and searched his vehicle…finding quite the haul: 8 pounds of meth, over a pound of heroin and a large amount of cash. Williams was booked into jail on multiple charges.
