Kennewick police investigate two armed robberies

Kennewick Police are investigating two armed robberies that happened overnight and could be connected.

The first happened early Thursday morning at the Jet Mart on North Volland off of Canal Drive. Officers say a Hispanic male entered the store, demanded money at knife point and left the store with cash.

Officers say the second happened a short time later at the Circle K at 1002 S. Washington. The same situation occurred, with a man entering the store and robbing the clerk at knife point.

Kennewick police have not confirmed if the two are connected.
