KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Kennewick Police responded to a report of several shots fired early Thursday morning, and found damage to one home in the area.


The first call into to 911 was recorded at 3:42 a.m., reporting that gunshots had been heard in the area of 4th and Rainier.


Officers found several shell casings near a home at the corner of Rainier and 4th Place.

There were several people inside the home when it was hit, but Sgt. Joe Santoy with the Kennewick Police Department said no one was hurt.


Investigators aren't certain whether the house was targeted in the shooting, but believe there is no danger to the general public.
