Grip Test Proved Which Seattle Seahawks Player Is the Strongest
The Seattle Seahawks gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at training camp this week with a grip strength challenge on the practice field, showing exactly who the strongest player is.
The test has some surprising numbers, both good and bad, from players you might not have expected.

The Bottom of the Seahawks Strength Leaderboard
Emmanuel Henderson Jr. came in at the bottom of the group with a reading of 125. Elijah Arroyo posted 132, and Emanuel Wilson, one of the more physical backs on the roster, came in at 139.
George Holani registered 144, and Anthony Bradford, an offensive lineman who you would expect to have a vice grip, came in at 153.

Bradford at 153 is the number that raises eyebrows the most. The man is an offensive lineman. His entire job description involves gripping and controlling other large humans. That number feels low for his position.

The Middle of the Pack
Jadarian Price and Ty Okada both posted identical scores of 160, an interesting tie between a running back and a defensive player.
Brady Russell edged them both at 162, but then again Brady is huge and much bigger than Price and Okada.
Derick Hall came in strong at 173, one of the higher numbers on the defensive side. That reading makes a lot of sense for an edge rusher whose pass rush moves depend heavily on hand fighting and grip.

The Top of the Leaderboard
Grey Zable posted 176 on his second attempt. The thing that makes this moment great is that he immediately asked what Riley Miles scored before deciding whether to be satisfied and tried again.
The competitive instinct between them is real.
He had reason to ask, because Riley Miles topped the entire group at 185. That is the strongest grip on the Seahawks practice field that day by a comfortable margin.
Riley Miles. Not the player most fans would have put at the top of that list, but it does not surprise me one bit. Just think back to that bear-hug of a sack he had in Super Bowl LX.

The One Who Walked Away or Were Not Measured
Tory Horton declined to show his number after hearing the record was 185. The other thing I have to point out is that other defensive stars like Lawrence, Williams, Murphy, and Reed were not shown.
I would put my money on Murphy to be the overall strongest and at least give Riley Mills a run for his money.

Grip strength is genuinely relevant in football. For offensive and defensive linemen, it directly affects the ability to control blocks and win hand battles at the line of scrimmage.
For pass rushers like Derick Hall, it translates to rip moves and speed rushes.
For running backs like Price and Holani, it affects ball security and pass catching.
Riley Miles – 185
Grey Zable – 176 on the 2nd try....He asked what Riley's number was.
Anthony Bradford – 153
Tory Horton – did not show
Jadarian Price – 160
Brady Russell – 162
Ty Okada – 160
Emmanuel Henderson Jr. - 125
Derick Hall – 173
Elijah Arroyo – 132
George Holani – 144
Emanuel Wilson - 139
