In Washington State, Attempting to Elude a Police Vehicle is a Class C felony. Driving While License Suspended/Revoked in the 1st Degree is a gross misdemeanor.

When Combined, These Charges Could Result in Severe Penalties

Being convicted of both subjects the suspect to consecutive penalties and further extends his revoked driving status.

The penalty for attempting to Elude a Police Officer is up to 5 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or BOTH. A mandatory 1-year revocation of your driver's license is also part of the penalty.

Because the suspect is convicted of BOTH charges, he's facing serious prison time.
