A Richland pizza restaurant is taking part in the launch of UberEATS in the Tri-Cities, hoping it reaches a new batch of customers.

UberEATS kicks off its food delivery service Monday, which partners with Uber drivers to pick up and deliver food ordered from the local restaurants to your home or office.

Owner Michael Miller of Stick+Stone says they do not have a delivery service and thought this would be a perfect way to bring their pizza to more people.

"There's a lot of buzz about it and people are really excited, who doesn't want the opportunity to order pizza in their pajamas and not have to get out," says Miller.

He says he never thought the service would come to the Tri-Cities but wanted to be one of the first restaurants to take part. He says their full menu is available for delivery, during regular business hours and all the ordering can be done through the UberEATS app.

Uber does add a booking fee of $4.99 to each order, and the restaurants set the food prices. The app, which is separate from the Uber app, is available on both Android and Iphones.
