(Richland, WA) -- Geocaching is back. The Tri-Cities 2022 Geocoin Challenge returns to Richland on Saturday, June 25th at Columbia Point Marina Park. Information follow below

Tri-Cities 2022 Geocoin Challenge
Land of the Three Rivers
Saturday, June 25, 2022
Columbia Point Marina Park
Time: 8am-7pm

Free, family-friendly event for new and experienced geocachers
Spend a day geocaching around the Tri-Cities (including West Richland)
Those who complete the challenge will receive a free Tri-Cities Geocoin. Remember ~ Only ONE geocoin per household
Kids (15 and under) who complete the challenge will receive a prize (event day only)

The Challenge will Consist of the Following:

Adult Challenge ~ 4 Adventure Labs

Kids Challenge ~ 8 Regular Geocaches

You must download the Geocaching Adventure Lab App onto your smartphone/device.

To Register you MUST do the Following:

Log "WILL ATTEND" on this event page.
Register through the City of Richland's Parks and Recreation page: Registration Link

Adults ~ Complete the 4 Adventure Labs & passport

Kids ~ Find the 8 Geocaches & complete the passport

Coin Pickup Time/Locations:

Columbia Point Marina Park, Saturday, June 25 - 3:00-7:00pm

Columbia Point Marina Park, Sunday, June 26 - 10:00am-12:00pm

Richland Community Center, Sunday, June 26 - After 2pm - Call for current hours - 509.942.7529

Event Schedule & Food Vendors

8:00am - Breakfast (Ethos will be joining us again this year)

9:00am - Welcome

9:15am - Adventure Labs/Geocaches - Go Live

3:00-7:00pm - Coin Pickup (Please don't get here before 3pm to pick up your coin. Instead find more geocaches or complete other local Adventure Labs.)

3:00-7:00pm - Dinner (Food Trucks: Gourmet Doggie Style & Tropical Snow)

6:30pm - Prizes (Must be present to win)

As usual, only one (1) geocoin per household.
