In Washington, votes have to be recounted if there is a less than one half of one-percent difference between the top two vote-getters.

That means the election for Franklin County Commissioner in District Two will likely face a mandatory recount. Right now, incumbent Bob Koch has just 16 more votes than challenger Rocky Mullen, though there are still some ballots that need to be counted.

The results will be certified November 29th.
