Ford Corkscrew Fire

State fire assistance has been mobilized in support of local firefighters working to contain the Ford Corkscrew Fire located in Stevens County, near Ford. The fire is burning in timber, grass, and brush, is estimated at 1800 acres and growing and is threatening structures, timber, and infrastructure. Level 1, 2, and 3 evacuations are in effect at this time. The fire cause is currently under investigation.
