Debris an ongoing problem for boat dock in Richland

Richland's Howard Amon Park is a popular destination for boaters. However, an ongoing problem with debris at the boat dock has made it difficult for boaters to  park along the waterfront.

Shawn Harper with the  Parks Department says maintaining a clear boat launch area has been difficult.

A Benton County Correctional crew started the  clean up of debris visible from the shoreline this past week, but more work is needed.
