Boy missing after jumping off cliff into Billy Clapp Lake

A boy is missing after he jumped from a cliff at Summer Falls near Stratford and didn't come back up.

Grant County deputies say they were called to the recreation area Sunday evening and started searching the area until dusk.

They say many details about the boy are not known at this time and they are still waiting to talk with family. Search and rescue personnel from Spokane County will travel to the site Monday to assist local resources.
