Bathroom Fire Damages Kennewick Metro Mart

KENNEWICK, Wash--A fire damaged the exterior of the Metro Mart on Columbia Drive in Kennewick earlier Friday. Kennewick Firefighters responded to the call around 7:30 in the morning.

A customer had gone to use the restroom and saw smoke. The store clerk then investigated, and found a trash can on fire. Responders were able to keep flames from spreading to the store and fuel pumps. It's not yet clear if the blaze was intentional, or an accident. Fortunately, no one was injured.
