After an over 5-hour standoff with Benton County deputies, man came out of his Finley home Thursday morning.

Benton County Sheriff's Lt. Clay Vannoy says the Tri-City Regional SWAT Team had to use flash bangs to get 54-year-old Fernando Tijerina of Finley out of the house off East Bryson Brown Road.

"He has several lacerations, don't know if they were caused, they were self-inflicted or  they were caused by broken glass, there was broken glass inside the room, so has a precaution we are having him checked out by the medic," says Vannoy.

Deputies say they treated the scene with caution due to the man spotted with several different weapons including an arrow and a long knife or possibly a sword.

The suspect was wanted on warrants for ID theft and passport fraud.

His mother and brother were in the home when officers first arrived, but they were able to leave the house safely before the stand-off started.
