Kadlec nurse license suspended after charges of sex crimes against children

A male nurse at Kadlec Regional Medical Center has had his license suspended after criminal charges of possessing images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, sexually exploiting a minor, and possessing a controlled substance without a prescription.

Benton County Sheriffs Detectives seized computers, cell phones and other electronic devices reportedly containing images of prepubescent children engaged in sexually explicit acts, as well as, sedative medications he did not have a prescription for.

Darrin Ruddell has 20 days to respond to the charges and he can't return to work as a registered nurse until the charges are resolved.
