Lori Schumaker with the Water Follies committee says testing will last until late this afternoon.

"That area there will be boats out, when the hydroplanes are out on the water, if people could not cross the course, it is a closed course when they are out on the water," says Schumaker.

The boats include the Miss Homestreet which was in Richland last week for the Richland Regatta. The Columbia Cup is set for July 29th through the 31st.
