Two men arrested after short Pasco police chase

Two people were arrested after a short police chase in Pasco Sunday night.

Police say they tried stopping driver Miguel Torres at 20th and Court when they noticed his truck had expired registration tabs. Officers say he pulled over but then quickly sped off, leading police on a chase until he crashed into a bush at 19th and Pearl.

The 33-year old was booked for eluding police and his 26-year old passenger, Sulema Vasquez, were arrested on warrants and suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.
