First reports of a fire sparking up near homes on the south side of the Hills West area of Richland began to flood in to local authorities around 1pm Monday.

A man from Benton City is on the run after a domestic violence assault from over the weekend.

The victim has since identified as 47-year-old Ezquiliel (Chico) Martinez of Pasco, WA

The overnight and early morning snow has made commuting difficult around the Tri-Cities to say the least. It is now responsible for the closure of all Benton County roads on the Horse Heavens.
