The National Park Service says it's discovered a second wolverine family living in Mount Rainier National Park. The agency says researchers found a second litter of newborn wolverine offspring in the park in June. Researchers found the first wolverine litter in the park in August of last year. Researchers say the new litter is only the second wolverine family ever documented in Mount Rainier National Park, and just the third family ever documented in the South Cascades in about a century.
