Two men with criminal backgrounds, including pleading guilty to robbing and beating a homeless man earlier this year, are once again behind bars for robbing a Walla Walla man.

Officers say the suspects took a cell phone charger and less than $100 from the 21-year-old on the Whitman College campus Wednesday night. The victim says he was threatened by the two men and told to turn over his backpack and empty his pockets. The two men were later arrested.

Officers say Christian Scott, 22, and Robert Deleon, 23, have a lengthy arrest history. Scott has been arrested about 23 times since turning 18. Deleon has around 15 arrests since January, 2015.

Both suspects were charged with another downtown robbery in March. That case involved the beating of a homeless man who was sitting on a downtown bench. Deleon pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Theft and Scott pleaded guilty to Harassment and Assault.
