A Pasco officer narrowly missed getting hit by a car which flipped over in the intersection right where he had been standing and it was all caught on his dash cam.

The officer says he had gotten out of the car Thursday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. at Sandifur and Road 68 to coach a driver confused about the four-way intersection, in which the traffic lights were flashing red due to construction.

When he was back in his patrol car, a 2-car accident happened right in front of them. A PT Cruiser which flipped in the wreak, landed right were the officer had been standing.

The collision itself is still under investigation.
