One person went to the hospital for smoke inhalation following a fire earlier Tuesday afternoon at a Pasco trailer park.

Assistant Pasco Fire Chief Dave Hare says they were called around 3:10 p.m. to a trailer which was fully engulfed in flames at the 700 block of Road 32, lot 69, at the Riviera Trailer Village.

Firefighters went defensive and knocked down the fire without causing damage to anything else in the area. Black smoke could been seen for several miles off Highway 395.

Hare says it appears someone was living in the motorhome but he was unsure if anyone was home at the time of the fire or how the injured person was actually connected to the fire.

The cause also remains under investigation.
