U.S. Attorney in Eastern WA steps down at behest of Biden Administration
SPOKANE, Wash.-Following a request by President Biden, U-S Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, William Hyslop will be stepping down from his position at the end of February.
First Assistant U-S Attorney Joseph Harrington will replace Hyslop, a position he held in the past.
Hyslop was sworn-in in July of 2019 and held the same post under the George H-W Bush Administration between 1991 and 1993.
U-S Attorneys usually serve at the behest of the current President.
