Toppenish Police warn of fake cash circulating

TOPPENISH, Wash.-- Police in Toppenish are warning about some counterfeit money circulating in the area.

Officers confiscated several fraudulent $100 bills, all with the same serial number, ending with 679 P.

They warn that there could be other bills circulating in the area, and encourage retailers and anyone selling products locally to be aware of any bills you receive.

If someone tries using one of the fake bills for payment, contact your local law enforcement agency.
