PASCO, Wash. - The Benton Franklin Health District can now confirm that there are 2 new lab-confirmed cases in our region. That number brings the total lab-confirmed positive cases to 17. There are 3 Benton County cases that are presumed positive and are linked to a person who has tested positive. 1 in Franklin County that is presumed positive because of an epidemiological link to a positive case.

The death of a Benton County woman in her 90s, was presumed positive after she had an epidemiological link to a person who had tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the total of deaths in our area to 4.

The daily release from the Health District says that there have been a total of 191 tests that have come back negative for the virus.
