Dozens of furry friends will be shown off at Columbia Park Saturday for what is called the Tri-Cities "super pet adoption," day.

The event put on by Jenny's Hope is set for Saturday at Columbia Park and organizers are hoping to find dozens of furry friends a new home.

A founder of the event, Debbie Bailey Stephens says this is the 8th year they've set up the event which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"A good goal that we try to shoot for, depending on the number, we have 17 shelters down here this year, I'm thinking a good number will be 70, that we adopt out in one day," says Stephens.

The free event will also feature food, pet vendors, a clown and bounce house for the kids while families can wander around and look to add a four-legged member to their family. Jenny's Hope also is taking in dog food to donate to shelters in the area.
