PASCO, Wash.-- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a stolen pick-up was found burning Wednesday night.

A passerby reported seeing the truck burning at Selph Landing and Highway 395 just after 11:00pm.

Crews with Franklin County Fire District #3 responded to the scene and found that the fire had spread to some nearby brush.

The truck had been reported stolen out of Pasco earlier in the week.

Cooler temperatures and calm winds helped to keep the brush fire from spreading too quickly.

Anyone with information about the truck or the fire is asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 509-628-0333.
