DQ giving away free ice cream for first day of Spring

It is the first day of Spring, but for those of you who are already ready for summer, you can get a free "taste" of the season Monday.

Dairy Queens nationwide, including all three in the Tri-Cities, are offering a free small vanilla cone to each person who stops by.

In exchange, the chain is hoping you will consider donation some money to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The promotion is going on all day at the DQ's in Richland and Kennewick.
