Officers are still searching for a suspect after a man reported Friday he had been forced into a car at gunpoint, before being robbed of his wallet and dropped off.

Richland police say they were called to the 1100 of Catskill for a report of a kidnapping and armed robbery. Officers say the victim told police he was taken at gunpoint near the Jadwin Stevens Apartments Friday morning. He says the suspect forced him and another man into the car, demanding his wallet and forced the other man to drive them around. The victim was then dropped off near Catskill and he was able to go to a nearby home to call police.

Officers say they quickly identified the suspect vehicle involved and then identified the other male passenger. Officers pinged the man's phone and found him and the car at the 1114 W 10th Ave.

That man, along with another man and a woman immediately came out of the Heatherstone apartment, however another man did not. That lead to a 2-hour standoff with SWAT and the man was arrested on a warrant.

Richland police say he was not involved in the kidnapping or armed robbery and they are continuing to investigate the case.
