Public hearing takes input on Richland community block grant
The City of Richland Planning Commission holds a public hearing Wednesday night to get the community’s thoughts on how a community block grant should be spent. Block Grant Coordinator Michelle Burden says for tonight’s public hearing is to address money that local organizations will apply to receive next year. For 2016… the city received more than 241-thousand dollars in funds that will be used for parks and ADA projects in low income neighborhoods. The public hearing is at 7PM in the city council chambers.
