PASCO, Wash.-- Pasco Police officers are searching for a man who is suspected of trying to rob a check cashing business Friday morning.

Investigators say a man went to the glass door of Order Express at 4th and Clark in Pasco, pulled out a gun, and tried to enter the store just before it opened at 10:00 A.M.

Workers had not yet unlocked the door for the day, so the suspect was not able to get inside and fled in a vehicle.

The business was robbed less than six weeks ago, when a woman stole cash and two cells phones at gun point.

Sgt. Brad Gregory with the Pasco Police Department says investigators will compare the information from both cases to see if they're connected.

Anyone with information about either incident is encouraged to contact Pasco Police through the non-emergency dispatch number, 509-628-0333.
