No credible threats have been made to any Pasco, Richland or Kennewick local businesses or groups following the deadly Orlando shooting, according to police.

Ken Roske with the Pasco Police Department says officers are fully prepared if the worst was ever to happen in the city.

"All of our agencies would be working very closely together to ensure the public's safety in a quick and immediate response, it doesn't matter where you are as far as jurisdiction or which agency you work for, it is going to be a coordinated effort among all our partners here locally," says Roske.

He also adds Pasco police have a partnership with the fire departments to provide paramedics as some of the first responders on a crisis situation.  Pasco is one of the first in the nation to have this partnership.

Roske says local law enforcement has heighten its awareness in the past several years because of the increase in shooting events across the nation.
