Pasco Police call off chase, search for suspect

Pasco Police are looking for a man who led them on a short chase when they tried serving an arrest warrant Tuesday night.

Officers say they tried to stop a vehicle driven by 21-year old Geovanny Blanco near the area of W Lewis St and 14th Ave for a Benton County arrest warrant. Blanco refused to stop and investigators say he started driving recklessly, reaching speeds of at least 100 MPH while running red lights. Officers called off the chase to avoid causing a collision. Blanco continued onto the Blue Bridge into Kennewick and is still at large.
