One in custody in Pasco homicide

PASCO, Wash.-- A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a woman was found dead inside a home in Pasco.

Police responded to a report of an altercation at a home in the 1800 block of N. 14th Ave. at about 12:30 a.m., and encountered Giovanni Magaña, 30, Pasco. Magaña was detained without incident.

According to Sgt. Rigo Pruneda with the Pasco Police Department, officers continued to investigate, and found the victim dead inside the home.

Magaña was booked into the Franklin County Jail for 2nd Degree Murder.

The victim's name won't be released until family can be notified.
