SALEM, Ore.-The Oregon Health Authority is revising its COVID-19 guidance for outdoor sports.

Counties in the low or moderate risk category can begin outdoor contact sports this week, while those in high or extreme risk, including Umatilla County, schools and other sports organizations can opt-in to resuming such activities with additional protocols in place.

These include offering on-site responsive testing for symptomatic individuals and close contacts, contact information for contact tracing, and a waiver identifying health and safety risks and a commitment to isolation and quarantine if exposed to COVID-19.
