A man driving a motorcycle was taken to Trios Thursday morning with non-life-threatening injuries after a head-on collision with a passenger car.

The accident happened at about 5:00 a.m. on a curve in the road of W. 26th Place.

The motorcycle driver was complaining of ankle pain, but was otherwise conscious and alert, talking to police and other first responders, according to SGT Randy Maynard with the Kennewick Police Department.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
